Sentinel Vineyard, situated in Marlborough’s Brancott valley, is a young artisan vineyard specializing in the production of single vineyard Sauvignon Blanc.

The winemaker’s philosophy is one of minimal handling, thereby allowing the fruit to fully express the vineyard’s own characteristics.

These grapes were machine harvested then pressed to tank, before undergoing a long cool ferment to fully express maximum varietal character.

This year's Sauvignon Blanc shows characters typical of a Marlborough style. It shows hints of capsicum and gooseberry, with tropical notes on the nose.

The palate has a fabulous mouth feel with undertones of gooseberry, passion fruit and tropical fruit. The wine is intense in flavour and finishes with well balanced acidity to leave a lasting impression.

Enjoy now while young and bursting with freshness or within two years.

We are certified by Biogro. The whole vineyard is managed using Organic practices. Our single vineyard sauvignon blanc wine is made from organically grown grapes.

About Sentinel Vineyard

Sentinel Vineyard was planted in 2003 and 2004.
Our family owned 8.6 hectare vineyard specialises in growing Sauvignon Blanc.
Situated on the clay hillsides of Brancott Valley in Marlborough, New Zealand.
Rootstock of Reparier Gloire was planted to ensure the vines can't be rampant but will emphasise flavour.
The intense mineral content of our clay hillside enables the grape to develop maximum flavour.

" This year's Sauvignon Blanc shows characters typical of a Marlborough style. It displays tropical and dried herbs on the nose and hints of passion fruit. The palate shows a good full and balanced wine. Green capsicum and passion fruit with undertone hints of tropical fruits. Finishes well with a lovely crisp acid."
